Terms and Conditions

Procedure:

Sessions will take place online, telephone or face to face.

Actions:

Coaching is all about taking action towards a goal and most of this action naturally takes place outside the coaching session.

Personal development:

If appropriate, the coach can provide personal development exercises for the client to do in between the sessions to help develop their self-awareness.

Confidentiality:

The coach recognises that any information the client divulges during
coaching session or via email is private and confidential. The only exception to this confidentiality is if the information is such that a minor, the client or another was in serious or mortal danger. Even then, the coach would advise you that this confidentiality would be broken for this specific reason and no other.

Payment and bookings:

All sessions are to be paid for via the website (except where agreed by the coach). Ties are arranged via email / phone with the coach. All sessions must be paid for at least 24 hours prior to the session. If a payment isn’t made, the coach will send the client a text and / or email to prompt. If payment is still not made one hour ahead of the session, the coach will regard this as a cancellation or re-schedule and the cancellation / reschedule clause will be applied (see cancellations / re-
scheduling).

Cancellations or re-scheduling:

Cancellations of sessions are required by text or email at least 48 hours in advance, or a further payment of £30 to provide a replacement for the missed session is required. To cancel or re-schedule, please contact the coach directly by telephone, text or email. Should the coach need to
cancel the session, they will give the client as much notice as possible.
Relationship: The coach is the expert of the coaching process. The client is the expert on themselves. Together they are a team working towards a common goal – the client’s success. The client makes the decisions about their life and what they will do during and after their sessions; the coach will help the client in the decision-making process.

The coach endeavours to support and encourage the client at all times.
However, should the client ever feel that anything the coach has said, or the way it has been said, causes offence or makes them feel uncomfortable, the client is encouraged to raise this with the coach. It will help develop their relationship which in turn will help the client to reach their goal faster.

Interventions:

The coach will be using techniques and tools to help the client to remove
blocks or limiting beliefs that may be holding the client back from reaching
their goal(s). These are tried and tested techniques which draw from
traditional life-coaching, personal-growth, motivational interviewing,
cognitive behavioural, compassion, mindfulness, neuro-linguistic,
acceptance and solution-focused frameworks.

Nature of Coaching:

The client is aware that the coaching is in no way to be construed as
psychological counselling or any type of therapy. Coaching results are
not guaranteed. The client enters into the coaching with the full
understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.
Legalities: The coach will maintain their professional indemnity insurance and compliance with regard to GDPR and the clients details.
